Edinburgh

Hi all finally in Edinburgh after a longer than usual trip. Our flight was delayed as someone failed to make the flight and their luggage had to be offloaded. The airport at Edinburgh was busy as well and we waited almost 30 mins for our bags. We are staying at a hotel that is on the tram line and it is very easy to get around.

This morning we went into the city centre for a wander. We had four seasons in an hour and are hoping that it will not rain tonight during the Tattoo. The place was packed as the Fringe Festival is also running and there are lots of street buskers and entertainers. We stopped to watch this guy who was hilarious. 

We went up and had a quick look at tonight's venue:

Then we went for a walk down the Royal Mile ...

Scottish parliament buildings - know which one I prefer and it is not the modern one!
