This morning we filled in time by taking the public bus around the Isle of Guernsey. One pound for an hours and a half - bargain. The Channel Islands have huge tides, it was close to low tide on our round island jaunt.
It is still common to see the fortifications that have been built on the islands ...

Ferry trip over was delayed because of low tide. Took an hour and the channel was calm today :)
