Escape from Alderney

Our accommodation last night was great - a 17th century stone barn near the centre of St Anne. The room was quite large and it was the best shower we have encountered so far this trip.

At 11 the taxi driver picked us up and dropped us at the airport. Our flight was due to leave at 12.20. However, No flights were able to get in or out until mid afternoon and our was the fourth one scheduled. The afternoon dragged on and a couple of flights had been and gone when we were bumped up a flight. We left Alderney around 6 pm and landed in Guernsey about 15 minutes later. These are a few of the islands we flew over.
